How long does it take to get started?
Book a demo or ask for a trial using the form on this page, and we'll set your trial up within a business day, with your plans and branding in place. A typical club goes live within a week: we import your members, you connect Stripe, and your members get a link to set up their app.
Can you move my members from my current system?
Yes. Export your member list from your current system (a spreadsheet is fine) and we'll map it, check it with you and import it. For founding clubs it's free.
How do members pay, and when do I get my money?
By card or BECS direct debit, through Stripe. Payments go into your club's own Stripe account and are paid out to your bank on Stripe's schedule, typically within a few business days. ClubKey never holds your money.
Do my members need to download an app?
No app store needed. The member app opens from a link and installs to the home screen in one tap, on iPhone and Android. It carries your club's name, logo and colours.
What door hardware do I need?
If your door has an electric strike or a maglock, a small door bridge (a Raspberry Pi with a relay, usually a few hundred dollars per door) connects it to ClubKey. Members open it from their phone, or with a fob, card or QR code. Send us a photo of your lock and we'll tell you exactly what you need.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Plans are monthly or yearly and you can cancel any time. If you cancel, ClubKey keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
How much does ClubKey cost?

Stripe's own card and direct-debit processing fees are charged separately by Stripe, as with any provider.
